






What is a Renaissance Faire?
Renaissance Faire is an immersive, family-friendly festival celebrating medieval and renaissance culture, featuring live entertainment, artisan vendors, food, music, and interactive experiences.
When is the faire open (dates & hours)?
The faire opens June 19th at noon and runs through June 21st. Vendor booths will be open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Does the event happen rain or shine?
Yes, the faire will take place rain or shine. Guests are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather. Covered areas and shelter will be available if conditions become severe.
Is there a map of the grounds?
Yes, a map of the grounds will be provided upon entry when tickets are checked.
How much are tickets?
Ticket prices range from $15 for youth to $55 for a family of four. Family tickets require a guardian to be present, and all members must reside in the same household.

Do I need to buy tickets in advance?
Advance purchase is not required; however, tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.​​

Are tickets refundable or transferable?
Tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred to another guest.

Can I leave and re-enter the faire?
Yes, re-entry is permitted with valid proof of purchase.
​Do I have to wear a costume?
No costume is required, though dressing up is highly encouraged and always adds to the experience.

What kind of costumes are appropriate?
Guests are welcome to wear Renaissance-inspired, medieval, or fantasy attire, including peasants, nobles, knights, merchants, elves, druids, pirates, Vikings, and similar characters. The emphasis is on overall aesthetic and atmosphere rather than strict historical accuracy.
Are weapons allowed as part of costumes?
Yes, costume weapons are permitted but must remain sheathed and may only be drawn in designated photo areas. Live or unsafe weapon use, including any form of play fighting, is not permitted.
Are prop weapons allowed?
Yes, prop weapons are allowed; however, they must not be swung or used in a manner that could pose a risk or be mistaken for real combat.
Are firearms allowed?
Concealed carry is permitted only for guests 21 and over, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

What kind of food is available?
The Golden Spruce Tavern will be providing a full food menu and operating as the main on-site restaurant during the event.

Can I bring outside food or drinks?
As this is also a camping site, we kindly ask that any outside food brought onto the property remains within your room, cabin, or campsite. Beverages are welcome throughout the grounds.

Are there vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free options?
Availability is dependent on The Golden Spruce and individual vendors. Options may vary.

Is drinking water available?
Yes. A complimentary hydration station will be available. We simply ask that used cups be disposed of properly.

What kind of vendors will there be?
Expect a wide variety of artisans and makers, including woodworkers, jewelers, herbalists, tincture and salve makers, and more.

Do vendors accept cards or cash?
Most vendors accept both, but cash is strongly encouraged as there are no nearby ATMs.

Are items handmade/authentic?
Yes. We prioritize and actively select vendors offering handmade, artisan, and authentic goods.

Do vendors haggle or offer discounts?
Prices are set by each individual vendor. Some may offer occasional discounts or bundle deals at their discretion, but haggling is not expected.
