Our beloved Homestead was forged from the Alaskan wilderness in the 1970s. Built by calloused hands, using timber milled right here, four generations carved a life from this land. They weren't building houses; they were building a legacy. A legacy shaped by time, standing steady even as the years carried them elsewhere. The signs of age are there... roofs dipping, walls groaning softly, but the craftsmanship and spirit of those who built this place live on, held within every beam, every nail, and every corner of this land.

"Wow, truly unique destination in the middle of one of the most beautiful areas in the U.S. Pictures don't do it justice. Our hosts were gracious and welcoming.
